Presented for the 20th year by The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, join locals and visitors on Sunday May 3, 2015 and savor the spirit of Southwest Florida just steps from the sand.Food tents and trucks will line Old San Carlos Blvd, just steps from our doors. Restaurants will offer samples of their most infamous creations. Each restaurant will compete for top ‘Taste of the Beach’ award honors in the categories of Best Appetizer, Best Beef or Veal Dish, Best Seafood Dish, Best Chicken Dish, Best Dessert, Best Luncheon Specialty Dish, Best Decorated Booth, and People’s Choice.
Attending this festival is a fantastic opportunity to savor local flavors without leaving the beach and without busting your budget. Stay with us, just steps from the beach and ‘Taste of the Beach’.
Gates open at 11:00 a.m. and food will be served 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be available on site. Admission is $5 for adults and children over 12. Children under 12 are free. Food tickets will be $1.00 each, with a $5 average food serving price . Entertainment will be provided by Jo List and Friends.
